Professor David B. DesRoches

Professor -Security Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies .

DB Des Roches is a professor of practice at the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies in Washington DC. A former Army officer and career civil servant in the US Department of Defense, he has served as the Defense Department director for the Arabian Peninsula, for Pakistan, and in a variety of other positions. He is a non-resident scholar at the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington, the Gulf International Forum, and is Senior International Relations Fellow at the National Council on US – Arab Relations. He has written many articles and chapters on Middle East issues, and is a frequent commentor on US and Middle East relations on Middle East television.

  • Note there is no deadline to register as a listening participant. However, seats are limited in each workshop and registration for non-paper presenters will be allowed on a space available basis.
